DJI should mind its own business
DJI should mind its own business. I understand restricting airports and military zones, since no exceptions can be made for flying there. But having to request special permission just to fly above 120 meters makes absolutely no sense. For one thing, you can fly higher than 120 meters next to tall buildings, and also if you hold a permit. Yet you still have to go through a whole process to unlock that. Why? It’s the pilot’s responsibility to follow the law — DJI shouldn’t interfere. If I have to share my permit details with them, they get far more information about me than necessary, which is an invasion of privacy and could potentially be sold. It’s a shame DJI makes the best drones, because the company itself treats its customers like children. What a pathetic bunch.
