The service from Growatt
The service from Growatt, especially the direct WhatsApp support, leaves nothing to be desired. All issues were addressed and resolved within a reasonable timeframe (under 24 hours). However, it would be great if the engineers at Growatt could find the time to provide an API. This would allow interested end customers and installers to directly retrieve data from the inverter without using the cloud. Relying on the cloud creates a burden for Growatt due to the high number of requests and also introduces significant delays—currently around 5 minutes. In the context of the energy transition, having an API would be extremely beneficial. It would enable various smart systems to optimize EV charging, control smart home devices, and much more.
