Not honoring return policy for damaged goods

I purchased merchandise from Uoozee (uoozee.com) and received an item that was damaged. I contacted the company to return the damaged merchandise and receive a refund. Uoozee’s published return policy specifically states: “If due to our reasons, the goods received are damaged or not correct, and the consumer is not required to bear the shipping fee for this reason.” Despite this written policy, Uoozee has repeatedly sent me what appear to be automated responses stating that I am responsible for paying the cost of returning the damaged merchandise to China. The international return shipping cost is approximately the same as the cost of the item itself. I notified Uoozee that its own published policy states that customers are not responsible for return shipping when merchandise is received damaged, and I provided a screenshot of that policy. Nevertheless, the company has continued to tell me that I must pay the return shipping cost. My concern is that Uoozee is advertising a return policy stating that customers will not bear return shipping costs when the company sends damaged merchandise, but in my case it is refusing to honor that stated policy after the purchase was made. I have documentation supporting my report, including photographs of the damaged merchandise, a screenshot of Uoozee’s published return policy, and my correspondence with the company. I am seeking a full refund for the damaged merchandise without being required to pay international return shipping, consistent with the return policy Uoozee published on its website at the time of my purchase. Also, buyer beware, the clothes are CHEAPLY MADE and not what’s described on the site. I wasn’t surprised that what I got ripped in transit.
