Dingdangame

I was just scammed out of $58

I was just scammed out of $58. I bought Split Fiction as a Steam account via G2A. Instead of giving me the ID directly, they sent me to an external website to provide more information. The seller, Dingdang_game, eventually gave me an ID, but I couldn’t log in—it didn’t work at all. It was clearly a scam. When I asked for a refund, they dodged the question and kept repeating that it was a Steam ID, as if I didn’t know what that was. I didn’t get the game or my money back. The account they provided came with a strange Chinese email address—not Gmail, not Outlook—and was completely unusable. G2A’s own policy (section 5) says I’m eligible for a refund, but they used excuses to avoid processing it. Others have tried chargebacks too, only to get their cards blocked. It’s a scam from both ends—no game, no refund. Even though G2A looks like a trustworthy platform, they won’t help you at all. Since the transaction goes through an external site, G2A takes no responsibility. They allow scammers like Dingdang_game to operate freely. Never buy from Dingdang_game. They are 100% scammers based in Hong Kong. You can’t report them to local authorities, and they’ll just take your money with nothing you can do.
