Does a real person even work here?
Thank you for the update. However, I do not understand why I am now being asked to file an extension with the IRS. It has been 32 business days since I provided all requested information and 30 business days since I answered the subsequent follow‑up questions. Had I been informed upfront that your team would require this amount of time to complete what should be a fairly straightforward tax return, I would not have moved forward and would have continued working with my regular accountant. It is extremely frustrating to now be required to take additional actions solely due to delays that are entirely outside of my control. Because I have already paid in full for this service, I am unable to simply withdraw my documents and return to my accountant. As a result, I am now being asked to submit tax payments without finalized filings and rely on the IRS to issue a refund later. This is neither reasonable nor acceptable, and it places an unnecessary financial burden and risk on me. I am very dissatisfied with how this has been handled and with what April is now asking me to do, particularly given that I fulfilled my obligations promptly and completely. I expect clarity on how this situation will be remedied and what steps your company will take to prevent further inconvenience. Everyone that I can actually get a hold of just ghosts me and there is no clear answers.
