Great service but ignorant customer support makes me lose 450$+ and 3 years of time, not recommend to sell accounts on here
I recently sold a Roblox account that I've grinded for 3 years and have spent 150$+- on and lost everything trying to sell it on the platform. And this is how things happened. When the buyer bought the account, my phone number has already been linked because I don't have any idea on how to remove it so I ask them to put in theirs and I'll give them the code to change it. After giving them the code, they confirmed with me that they have put their credentials such as email and phone number in there. I also asked them to change the password so it can log me out and secure the purchase and they did. After a while, they claimed that the account have been accessed by someone and got stolen. We tried to find a way to resolve this problem. I asked them how things happened and they just said someone change the password and informations to log them out without any solid evidence. Thus, we tried contacting Roblox support and ZeusX support. When I reach out to ZeusX to inform them about the situation and they asked me to provide evidence that I never put any information before/after the purchase and I sent them a partial screenshot that I took of the account's information a week before the sale takes place. I never put my phone number before that but when I suspected that the buyer is using the account without paying, I did it to get the buyer's attention because they never leave a review (confirming the purchase). I have a lot of items in there that they could trade to their account and later issue a refund so they could get free stuff out of this, so I panicked. But after the confusion, we were able to sort this out and the buyer confirmed and secured the account 100%, replacing every piece of my credentials with theirs. Now, when the account is taken by someone else, I'm the one who gets the blame. They never considered the possibiltiy of them changing it themself or that their device could have viruses. They just assumed that I am the bad guy and suspended my account where I made around 300$ in sales. I looked forward to get some money out of this to help with my family situation but they just shut everything down, taking every single dime that I've made. All the effort that I put towards the items and this account that I sold would be mean for nothing because of this. 3 years and 150$ just to get taken by a gaming marketplace... If I had the intention to scam, I would've waited until the money is withdrawn to my bank account before making a move. They always assume that the seller is the culprit behind all failed/dishonest transactions. In conclusion, even sellers can get scammed and mistreated on this platform. Never sell expensive accounts by on this website and set the delivery method as "Automatic" because anything could happen to you if you do. Stay safe and please consider my case carefully, ZeusX. Update 9/4/2025 (replying ZeusX): Instead of blaming merchants why don't you update your policy about pirating stuff from us. Buyers could easily just lie about not getting the account and ZeusX would be on their side. They can also "buy" the account just to get the username and password and steal all currency and in-game goods, then proceeds to cancel the order and claim that they "changed their mind" and ask for a full refund. This is just pure favoritism. The customer that I encountered never showed any solid evidence that the account was stolen. All they've shown is a "Password or username is incorrect please try again" text and we can't even know about what password he puts in there nor the username of the account. Now all of it is lost and they couldn't do a little as trying to investigate further, they just put all of the blame on me. In the end, sellers can also be victims on this website despite the fact that they are the ones that are actively trying to resolve the problem. I will wait some more days to see if they realize this problem or they will just remain ignorant. Thanks for your time.
