Utterly Useless Tool – Misleading Refund Policy & Unhelpful Support
I had high hopes for the EaseUS Data Recovery tool, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money and time. Their claim of a "30-day refund if the tool doesn't work" is nothing but a marketing gimmick. In the free version, all my recently deleted files were clearly visible. Naturally, I assumed the Pro version would help me recover them – so I paid a hefty price for the upgrade. But to my shock, when I ran a fresh scan using the Pro version, none of those recent files showed up anymore. I tried multiple scans, used different scan types, and followed every instruction – no luck. I contacted customer support, expecting some kind of resolution or at least technical insight. Instead, I received generic, copy-paste responses that were completely unhelpful. When I asked for a refund, citing their 30-day policy and the fact that the tool didn’t recover anything it claimed to, I was met with resistance and excuses. Avoid this software at all costs. It overpromises and underdelivers, and their support system is just as disappointing as the product. You’re better off looking for other recovery solutions that are actually transparent about their capabilities.
