I want to warn everyone about a bad experience I had with a travel Hot flight deals website. If you're traveling within the United States or internationally, I strongly recommend not booking through this site. it appears to be a SCAM. I booked a flight from Austin, Texas to Seattle, Washington for July and paid in full. After everything was finalized, I received a call saying the airline was overbooked and that I needed to pay an additional $85 to secure my ticket. This is not how legitimate bookings work. If felt very unprofessional and dishonest, like they were trying to get more money out of me after the fact. I'll be contacting the airline directly to report this, but int he meantime, please be careful. let your family and friends know as well, do not use this website.Hotflightdeals.com I am filing a formal complaint and will be reporting this matter to the U.S.Department of Transportation for violations of consumer protection regulations. this way this situation was handled is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about your business practices. I expect this issue to be addressed promptly.
