Seller on Alibaba Shenzhen Vintage Sign Co., Ltd. Neon signs Extremely disappointing experience with Alibaba and one of its suppliers, Shenzhen Vintage Sign Co., Ltd. Who make neon signs I run a neon sign business in the UK and have spent several thousand dollars through Alibaba suppliers while testing products for our business. Unfortunately, this experience has completely damaged my confidence in using the platform. My experience with Shenzhen Vintage Sign Co., Ltd. involved repeated product failures over an extended period: • The original neon arrived broken on delivery • A replacement later developed flickering/fault issues • A third replacement later suffered acrylic housing failure/cracking The supplier later acknowledged ventilation issues and proposed adding ventilation holes to a redesigned acrylic box, which strongly suggests a design/manufacturing problem existed from the start. Despite multiple documented faults, videos, photographs, months of communication, and repeated remakes, I was eventually asked to pay additional shipping costs to resolve yet another issue linked to the same order. What disappointed me most was Alibaba’s handling of the situation. I repeatedly contacted customer support hoping they would step in and help mediate fairly. Instead, I was continually told to negotiate with the seller, despite repeated failures and a complete deadlock. As a business customer, after-sales support matters enormously because supplier failures directly affect our own customers and reputation. Sadly, after this experience, I have lost confidence in both Shenzhen Vintage Sign Co., Ltd. and Alibaba’s willingness to properly support buyers when things repeatedly go wrong. Very disappointing.
