ZeusX Refunded Buyer Who Used My Region-Locked Code – No Protection for Sellers

I had a very disappointing experience with ZeusX as a seller of digital, one-time-use products. I listed a region-locked League of Legends gift code (575 RP) that was clearly marked for use only in the Turkey (TR) region. The buyer contacted me and insisted their account was Turkish. I even provided a screenshot to help them verify. After their confirmation, I delivered the code. Later, it turned out their account was not in the correct region, so the code didn’t work — due to their own mistake. Despite all this, ZeusX refunded the buyer without asking for my input or checking whether the code had already been used. It gets worse: I later found out that the buyer used the code after receiving the refund. That means they got the product and their money back — while I lost both my product and the payment. When I raised this issue, ZeusX support told me that “sellers should avoid one-time-use codes” and offered no solution or compensation, even though I followed all platform rules and acted in good faith. This is incredibly unfair and dangerous for digital sellers. If ZeusX allows refunds like this, what stops buyers from abusing the system over and over? There is no seller protection, no verification, and no accountability. Unless ZeusX makes serious changes to protect digital sellers, I strongly advise others to avoid using the platform — especially if you deal with custom, region-locked, or one-time-use items. For your response Dear ZeusX Staffs: Your response and refund decision are deeply disappointing and reflect a dangerous precedent for digital sellers on your platform. Let me clarify once again: The code I listed was a region-locked League of Legends 575 RP gift code, clearly marked for use only in the Turkey (TR) region. The buyer claimed their account was in the correct region. I even provided clear warnings and a screenshot explaining this restriction. Despite these warnings, the buyer ignored the listing details and proceeded with the purchase. When the code didn’t work (as expected, due to the region mismatch), the buyer requested a refund, and you granted it without consulting me or verifying if the code had already been redeemed. What makes this even more outrageous is that I have evidence the buyer used the code after receiving the refund — effectively stealing the product while you stood by and enabled it. Your message claims the product "did not function as described", which is completely false. The product functioned exactly as described — but the buyer didn’t meet the usage conditions clearly stated in the listing. And yet, instead of protecting the seller, your policy blindly favors the buyer. According to your logic, a buyer can: Purchase a one-time-use or region-locked product, Ignore all listing warnings, Request a refund after using the item, Keep both the product and the money — while the seller loses everything. When I reached out, I was told sellers should "avoid one-time-use codes" — an absurd suggestion given your platform allows and profits from such listings. Are sellers simply not protected here? This situation highlights a serious flaw in your refund system and a lack of accountability in your buyer protection policy. Until you implement safeguards for digital sellers and properly verify buyer claims — especially for one-time-use items — I strongly advise others to avoid ZeusX for selling any kind of custom, locked, or consumable digital goods.
