DJI

[RESOLVED] Ordering directly from DJI doesn't mean DJI stands behind the shipment... Unless you insist, a lot.

FedEx (DJI's chosen carrier) sent an email on Friday saying my DJI power 1000 mini order (€479) would arrive "today by 8pm", hours later, a "package delivered" one, only the delivery had apparently happened the day before, 29 hours earlier, on Thursday... Their automated system must have somehow forgotten to update me, and DJI, which minutes later sent me a "package delivered" one themselves. Checked around, asked around, nothing to be seen, checking the tracking is where the fun starts, the initial 8 datapoints had organic dates (14:40, 17:01, etc), the last 3, delivery included, just happened to be at 12:00 on the dot on 3 different locations. The "proof of delivery", which is what DJI says proves FedEx delivered the package, has no ID (DNI in Spain), no first/last name, no photo of the location/package/recipient, and no digital signature. The signer is listed as "S. Stamp", a "receptionist/front desk", at a residential address, in a town where barely 2000 people live, on a street of single-family homes. Needless to say we were at home both when it was supposedly delivered, and when it was supposed to be delivered, plus have a video intercom, no FedEx calls, at any point in time. Seeing as there was an obvious error, I for one called FedEx directly and opened a support ticket the same day, laying all of this out in writing, then reported the issue to DJI immediately, including the full FedEx thread and case number attached, exchanged dozens of messages with my DJI representative, which tried to reship the product twice, and even asked me to file a formal criminal complaint with the "Guardia Civil" here in Spain, which I did, explaining the full situation. Which takes us to today, after 2 weeks and 5 days, a lost package, two failed reshipment attempts, a visit to the National Police, a visit to the Guardia Civil, a formal criminal compain, and roughly fifty emails across 2 representatives... For DJI's response to amount to "we're sorry, FedEx says it's all good, that's that". And I'm left without my money, without my power station, without my past and future time, and with a long list of tickets/reviews/formal complains/etc to go through, one done, I guess. If something goes wrong with your order, don't expect DJI to actually resolve it. DJI order: 0340583811468 DJI case ID: 10224296 or CAS-34818787-Q5M9K6 FedEx tracking: 873165806523 FedEx case ID: C-246730398 Ref-10644 ============================= 31/07/26 The issue has been resolved. After several weeks of persistence, DJI ultimately reversed course, arranged a new shipment, and the replacement arrived correctly. It took a formal police report, well over fifty emails, and knowing my rights as an EU consumer before actually receiving our order... I just wish it had been much, much simpler to handle. Credit where due: in the final stretch, the case was handled attentively, and the resolution was executed well.
