In the summer of 2023
In the summer of 2023, I ordered a Luba 1000 and waited eagerly for over a month and a half. It got stuck in customs because Mammotion hadn't prepared the necessary ADR paperwork. Around 30 other people in Sweden experienced the same issue. After countless emails back and forth, Mammotion finally agreed to send out a new unit and recalled the one stuck in customs 🥳 Aside from some software problems, it worked really well during the month I got to use it. I packed everything up for the winter and stored it in a warm place. In 2024, the positioning issues started to get serious. Eventually, the mower couldn't receive any satellite signals at all. I submitted feedback 7–8 times before they finally told me it needed to be repaired. BUT then suddenly, after a patch, it started working again 😀 – at least off and on. I packed it away for winter again, and when I tried to start it this year, it was receiving no satelites at all. After several emails with Mammotion, I sent it in for repair and got it back today. To my surprise, they had only repaired two rear wheel axles and some "clips" – without doing anything about the GPS receiver. Now I'm tired of this, so I’m contacting support directly to describe the situation and tell them that I want a new lawnmower. But as usual, Mammotion asks for more time and refers me to another department that is supposed to handle the case. I'm done with this now. All other company’s would just send out a new lawnmower, apologize, and include some compensation. What is the problem? I know this turned into a wall of text, but I just want to warn anyone considering Mammotion. At this point, I have nothing good to say about this company.
