BIG NO to Traveloka. 1st and Last and I hope No one else suffers!
Please avoid traveloka. Simply money making, oppurtunistic and complete ruthless. I planned a trip for My Mom In Law (MIL) to travel from Lahore to Surabaya, got her a visa, booked her hotel and made all the necessary arrangement. My mistake was booking the flight through traveloka. When i attempted booking from Lahore to Surabaya there was no direct suggestion, hence i had to book it as multicity trip which was Lahore - Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur - Surabaya, Surabaya - Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur - Lahore. I was given ticket with 4 Different PNR. And when my MIL attempted to board from Lahore she was not allowed to board. The reason being that For Lahore Kuala Lumpur flight , they need a return under the same PNR. I called up traveloka and to my surprise they said they were aware that this is going to happen, yet they sold the ticket to passenger. And they claim they have this mentioned in the news section of their app under travel regulation which one would never even be interested in clicking unless it appears as a pop up. Instead of putting this as a pop up they put this message so hiddenly that it went unnoticed and made me burn all the tickets which was a total of RM5700 and also all the necessary arrangment i made in indonesia for her arrival and stay. When i complained. TRAVELOKA raise their hands with absolute no regret and blame me on not reading the news section in their app. Tell me one thing, why should the platform keep an option of purchasing something that cost thousands yet not utilizable? Theres no other reason but to trap consumer into hidden disclaimer and make easy money. Is as equivalent to selling a spoilt machine at the cost of a functional machine. In fact this is even worse, coz we can even sell spoilt machine to scrap, but what are they expecting consumer to do with a ticket thats not boardable, totally not utilizable? Please avoid buying from this platform. After my incident i read online that many actually became victim of traveloka booking with its rules hidden and never empathise consumer who actually trust them with the journey of their loved ones. You lose a client and you will not retain any with this attitude. I will report this to other relevant authority too for Unfair business transaction and manipulative terms that are biased towards their agensy. Further to this. When traveloka closed all the channel for refund. I went up till Pakistani Airport Authority to discuss with Batik Air Pakistan. They helped me revalidate the ticket to new date. But to my surprise, i discovered that Batik Air has already refunded RM2900 of the Lahore Kuala Lumpur Ticket to them. A refund they planned to play silent off for. Just see how big a scammer they are. When i corresponded with them they simply said the refund was overlook and when i say why have you misguided me to the extend that i got my ticket revalidate instead of seeking refund, they have no answrr for it. And finally they take the excuse of the other tickets being revalidated. Hence now they cant process the refund. Such a big2 story twister. Big No. Please2 avoid Traveloka. Its a Big Fraudster company. Each time reply they use scripted AI answer.. Theres practically no humanity. They are happy making money by cutting customer throat.
