Revised review on 7/8/26
Unaware that my vet would be willing to use Chewy, and aware that they were contracted with Allivet, I opened an account with Allivet. An auto ship order was placed by me on 6/25/26 and approved by our vet. Unfortunately the vet’s tech entered incorrect dosing info so they contacted Allivet to make the correction. My rx was then placed on a *pharmacy hold* presumably while Allivet rectified the error. I attempted to both call and live chat with a question about future orders, but wait times were so outlandish that I just gave up. Realizing that Allivet was not a pharmacy I wished to continue with, on 6/29/26 while my rx was still on a pharmacy hold, I cancelled auto ship, deleted my debit card info and took screen shots of both completed transactions. On 7/2/26 I received an email from Allivet stating that my rx had shipped. So not only did they ignore the auto ship cancellation, they illegally used my debit card which had been deleted from my account. Meanwhile I had Chewy contact my vet for the rx which shipped the same day and was delivered by FedEx the very next day. I have replied to Allivet’s shipping email notification, but not anticipating a response. Lesson learned…most unpleasant experience! *****Update 7/8/26***** A very kind woman named Christina in what I believe to be their customer satisfaction department contacted me yesterday by voicemail. We spoke today, and while I fully expected her to attempt to persuade me to remove this review it never happened. Instead she told me that she had gone ahead and refunded my order without my having requested it. Auto Ship is cancelled, my form of payment eliminated, and my account permanently closed. Again, Christina was exceptionally kind and understanding. I wish that she would just get a job at Chewy…she’s perfect for their kind of wonderful customer service.
