I have been a member of the organization for 40+ years. I attempted to deposit a $50 check and was asked for identification. I relayed that my bank account and mail are delivered to my P.O.Box. The check from the State of New Jersey had the P.O. Box on the check. She then requested the direct address. I gave a Public Service bill and told her to place a note that no mail is to be sent to the street address. I am curious as to why the female requested proof. After I questioned her she seem to be annoyed. I felt that her interaction was because I am a Black female and such behavior truly annoyed me. I was born to be who I am and will not accept abuse. The individual in question was appeared to be a young oriental female. It was between 11 - 11:30am.
