I ordered a choke motor for a Nordictrack exp 1000x, the part that arrived did not match the original part. I talked with someone at Fitness Repair online chat. I was concerned about the part arriving in an opened bag and that it was smaller than the choke motor. They assured me that it met the part number as a replacement motor. I didn’t want to install it but had been assured it would work. After drilling new mounting holes I installed it and connected the 2 wires. One wire was female connector and the other male connector so can’t go wrong there. After using for 25 minutes I could smell the smell of something overheating. I shut treadmill down and felt around the area of the cover where the choke motor was installed and it was very warm to the touch. This was my concern of an undersized replacement part. I will not order from this company again.
