Predatory Subscription That is Difficult To Get Out
Some jars you open. This one you have to fight, and it fights dirty. By the time I got the seal off there was cream on my hands, on the counter, on a dish towel that did not deserve what happened to it, and I still hadn't gotten to the part where the product itself turns on you. Then the smell showed up. Nothing like what was on the label, nothing like what was on the ad, nothing like anything you'd want within ten feet of your skin. I've caught better smells drifting out of a gas station men's room. The jar went in the trash before I'd even used it once, which tells you something. And then there's the checkout. Buried in there, past the part where you feel clever for grabbing a discount, is a subscription you never signed up for on purpose. You think you're getting a deal. What you're actually getting is a leash — future charges, future shipments, all of it quietly ticking along while you've already forgotten this company exists. Nobody flags it. That's the point. Bad jar, worse smell, and a checkout built to slip a hook into anyone moving too fast to read it twice. Skip this one. Keep your card number to yourself.
