I recently travelled from London to Penang with a transit in Kuala Lumpur. While the journey presented some unexpected challenges, the professionalism and support from the ground staff helped ease the situation. Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, I was informed that I needed to collect my checked luggage and recheck it at the Batik Air counter. Unfortunately, I was later told that my luggage had not been loaded onto the connecting flight to Penang. This was quite a shock, especially since the booking was made via Trip.com, where this process had not been clearly communicated. However, I was fortunate to be assisted by Ms. Cecelia Ivy, a member of the ground staff, who was both courteous and efficient. She patiently listened to our concerns, clearly explained the situation, and offered helpful recommendations to manage the issue. Her professionalism and empathy were truly commendable and made a significant difference during a stressful moment. Although the luggage issue was disappointing, the excellent service provided by Ms. Cecelia Ivy deserves to be acknowledged. Her assistance reflects a high standard of customer care and is a credit to the team.
