Cinch is a waste of your money
Cinch is a breakdown insurance company. They charge you $200 for a call-out, whether it's your dishwasher or HVAC system. Their service providers will do what they can to REPAIR rather than REPLACE, which is fine, except when you realize you just spent $200 to repair a dishwasher that wasn't worth repairing (or would have cost $150 if you called in the local service provider). Right now, I'm in a three-month dispute over the repair/claim buyout of my central air conditioning. In June, Cinch sent a service provider who required me to pay $1,472 for a repair that didn't work (they poured coolant into a leaky system). After 3 months of technician visits (8 visits, 3 service providers), 15 calls to Cinch, my air conditioning unit is till not repaired, and I'm out $1672 (including my deductible), Rather than spending more than $1,000/year on this insurance, put your money into a savings account. When an appliance breaks down, save yourself the aggravation of dealing with this breakdown insurance company, and use the money you saved to repair or replace your appliance.
