The Reality of Waggle: Constant Disconnections
I bought this device for peace of mind, but it has caused nothing but stress. The monitor sits in the exact same spot inside my home every single day. Despite this, like clockwork every two weeks, the cellular connection completely drops out. The only way to fix it is to physically press the manual reset button on the back. Think about how fundamentally flawed this is: if you are away from home, you cannot press a physical button. If it drops its connection while you are out, your pets are left completely unprotected with zero alerts. Waggle charges an incredibly expensive cellular subscription fee, but the service is garbage. For comparison, everything connected to my AT&T Fiber Wi-Fi runs flawlessly. Waggle's network is the sole failure. Deceptive Pricing & Cheap Hardware Waggle’s pricing strategy feels like a total bait-and-switch. I paid top dollar for this product, only to watch them slash the price significantly just a few weeks later. Between the overpriced initial purchase, the expensive subscription fees, and the immediate price drop, I feel completely hoodwinked. To top it off, the power cord for my WaggleCam Pro already failed and needs to be replaced. Bottom Line: Do not trust your pets' lives or your hard-earned money to Waggle. Buy a brand that actually prioritizes hardware reliability and fair pricing.
