You can even deregister an old device (laptop) and then register another and vice versa - its simple to do just click on the icon next to the figure of the head on the body if there is a square with an arrow then its registered and that allows you to deregister. I paid for the lifetime version of Ultimate. It is already worth every cent after hours and days of trying to retrieve my kindle documents because my old mobile has been de-activated and so cant access the code Amazon sends. Amazon - THE WORST service provider EVER. Even if you live in the USA you probably still have zero chance of contacting them - don't try chatting as its all automated and you end up after an hour of waiting or re7direction being told to call the help line.
