Software QC declining; adds cripple timely remote access
YI cameras and their apps worked well when I switched to these units from older Panasonic cameras. My satisfaction has continuously deteriorated during the past 24 months, from my SD cards mysteriouslyrics failing, to the ridiculous ads that lock up your Android or PC app to the point it can hinder your ability to see your home during an emergency -- enough of that trap YI Marketing. The PC app is not user friendly, some features like Navigation randomly shows up and is not consistent with smartphone apps. Seriously guys in the development department, I seen more robust software from college students -- the quality is unacceptable. The issue is I'm not falling for their subscription, like I really want that info in the cloud, so lately, they cripple the software as punishment. So Yi management and engineers, best to reprioritize customer satisfaction or you will find your brand and business on the tech trashpile next to others who got too greedy
