Overall bad experience at this hotel in urgent need of refurbishment/modernization
Overall quite a bad experience staying at the Regal Causeway Bay Hotel Hongkong. Would not recommend it and not stay there again. NOT a five star hotel & in URGENT NEED OF REFURBISHMENT, especially the rooms! Main complaint: oldish rooms, NOT at all sound proof as we could still hear the street noise even though we were on the 20th floor & our neighbors. As the doors don't close silently, one could constantly hear doors being closed very loudly of other rooms on the same level. Reception staff in general friendly, but some struggling with English. Only good point: central location in Causeway Bay. But still would rather stay next time at another hotel. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!
