Traveloka – Lacking Transparency and Trust I attempted to book a flight at the advertised price, but the process raised serious concerns. The system requested extensive personal information, including age, address, credit card details, and passport information, well before confirming the final inflated price. During booking, the advertised price first increased by $3, and then, after clicking “Pay Now,” it more than doubled from $335 to $688. This lack of price transparency feels like personal information is being scraped, especially as it is done prior to a confirmed price, and is completely unacceptable. Many competing Booking platforms, including booking direct through the airlines, offer and cheaper more transparent and safer experience. Buyer beware: I cannot trust this platform and will not use it again.
