We were starting to be worried with our son's reading abilities when he was around 6 years old in K2. He was hardly able to read simple words at that age even though his classmates were already reading sentences. We thought that since his kindergarten teaches phonics, he wouldn't need extra help and will just catch up one day. As he was going to P1, that was when we got a little anxious as the inability to read will impact his learning and we did not want him to lose the joy of learning and confidence because of that. I stumbled upon Bravely Reading and I am so glad I did. Teacher Lindy had been teaching him the last 1 year and my son has improved so much. He is able to read most words for his P1 work, road signs, advertisements, etc... Learning spelling had became much easier in the recent months as compared to the beginning of P1 too. I highly recommend every child who struggles with reading or would just like to build a much stronger foundation in English to try out lessons with Bravely Reading. Our experience had been great so far!
