Worst Electric Bike Ever
I bought a Halo Knight electric bike 6 months ago. Unfortunately, this bike has proven to be not only disappointing but also dangerous, and I strongly advise against purchasing it. I quickly noticed that the brake pads, clearly designed for scooters, are completely unsuitable for an electric bike. They wear out extremely fast, making braking unreliable. Worse still, the battery suffered a sudden electrical failure in the middle of the night while I was riding, instantly cutting off the lights. I narrowly avoided a serious accident due to this sudden failure. Upon inspection, I found that the bike’s and battery’s connectors had burned. I contacted customer service, but their response was absurd: either I repair it myself, or I pay €150 in shipping fees for a new battery, with no guarantee of a fix.
