TitlSeller refuses refund for unused Steam account, no good-faith resolutione
I purchased a "Steam Account" listing for Subnautica 2 from Dingdang_game on G2A. I never logged into the account or used the credentials in any way. When I requested a refund, citing that selling Steam accounts violates Section 1.C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and that Valve can reclaim or ban such accounts at any time, the seller responded twice with identical generic templates ("virtual goods are non-refundable once shipped"). Neither response addressed any substantive point of my complaint not the unused state of the account, not the underlying ToS violation, not the lack of risk disclosure on the listing. This is not a good-faith resolution attempt. The seller appears to rely on automated brush-off replies and on G2A's structurally buyer-unfriendly dispute process to wear customers down. My recommendation: avoid this seller, and avoid "Steam Account" listings on G2A in general. For game purchases, use Steam directly, Fanatical, GOG, or Humble Bundle — slightly more expensive but with real EU consumer protection.
