Learn Mandarin and Discover the Heart of Beijing
My daughter and I visited Beijing during the October holiday, and we found the Mandarin program at Mandarin Zone to be exactly what we were looking for. It was a perfect one-week experience — mornings filled with Mandarin lessons, and afternoons exploring the city’s rich culture as our teacher guided us through the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Temple of Heaven. From the very beginning, the teachers and admin staff were kind, patient, and accommodating. Margaret LaoShi was especially thoughtful and polite. I was touched by the way she respectfully addressed me using 您 throughout our entire time there. One day, she even went above and beyond by helping me order rain gear when I mentioned I was worried about possible rain during our last day trip to Universal Studios. Margaret LaoShi truly 用心 — she puts great care and heart into everything she does. Her dedication and thoughtfulness really reflect the spirit of Mandarin Zone. Thank you so much Margaret LaoShi. All the teachers we met were warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about teaching Mandarin. Their enthusiasm made learning both enjoyable and inspiring. It was a beautiful and memorable way to connect with the language and experience the heart of Beijing.
