Paid for a tablet, got a dead device and silence

⭐ 1 out of 5 (only because 0 or negative stars are not possible) If it were possible to give zero or even negative stars, I would gladly do so. Unfortunately, Trustpilot limits reviews to a minimum of 1 star, which is still far more than this experience deserves. I ordered a tablet from CompAsia (Order ID: #CAM76671) and received a unit that could not even be powered on. This alone proves that the device was never properly tested, despite CompAsia’s claims of a “32-step quality check.” After chasing them for updates, the order status suddenly changed to “shipped,” and the dead device was delivered shortly after — which felt like it was rushed out just to silence my complaints. I returned the defective unit to the Pyramid drop-off shop on 10 December 2025. The shop handled things professionally and immediately sent the device back to HQ, even emailing HQ to request assistance. This clearly shows the problem is with CompAsia HQ support, not the drop-off location. Today is 18 December 2025, and I have received zero updates from CompAsia’s support team. No status, no explanation, no resolution — just silence. I paid my money almost one month ago, yet I still do not have a usable product. The amount of time wasted, follow-ups required, and stress caused by this process is unacceptable. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in CompAsia. Poor quality control, worse customer support, and no accountability once they have your money. Avoid if you value your time and peace of mind.

Urgent Complaint – Defective Unit Received for Order #CAM76671 & Quality Control Failure

Dear CompAsia, I am extremely disappointed with how Order ID: #CAM76671 has been handled. After my second email requesting a proper update, the order status suddenly changed to “shipped” during midnight, and the parcel was delivered early this morning. However, I was completely shocked to find that the tablet cannot even be turned on, even after being plugged in to charge. This clearly shows that the device was not tested at all, despite your claim of a so-called “rigorous 32-step quality check process” stated on your website FAQ. If a device cannot even power on, it is obvious that no quality control was done. It feels as though the item was simply sent out in a rush just to silence my complaints, without proper inspection. If this is accurate, it raises very serious concerns about how your company is conducting its business. I demand: A detailed explanation of how a device that cannot power on passed your so-called QC process, AND A proper resolution — including a refund, since you have failed to deliver a functional product as advertised. Please do not hide behind your “non-refund policy.” Such a policy does not apply when the company delivers a defective, unusable, and improperly inspected device. I expect an urgent and responsible response.

Order Delayed With No Explanation – Support Just Ignores You

I honestly cannot believe how terrible CompAsia’s customer service is. I ordered a device (Order #CAM76671) on 24 Nov, and your website clearly states 3–5 working days for shipping. It’s now way past that, and I still have zero updates. Not even a basic status check. Here’s the “support” I received so far: 28 Nov — ignored 2 Dec — ignored 3 Dec — “we’re checking” and then disappeared 4 Dec — ignored again The only real response I got was someone copy-pasting your “no refund” policy — which is funny because you can quote policy instantly, but can’t deliver what customers actually pay for. This tablet was meant to be a birthday present, and because of your incompetence and lack of communication, the date has already passed. You take money immediately but can’t even give a proper shipping update. What makes it worse is seeing the same generic replies you give to other customers: “We have escalated your order to priority.” If everyone gets the same message, then nothing is actually a priority — it’s just an excuse. So let me be very clear here: I want a confirmed, specific delivery date for Order #CAM76671 — not another empty apology and not another vague “we escalated it” message. If you cannot provide a precise date or if you are unable to fulfil the order, then just cancel it and refund my money. At least be upfront. I need this reply in black and white, because if this continues, I will have to bring this to the relevant consumer authorities along with documented evidence of your delays, non-responses, and refusal to provide an actual timeline. I’m posting this publicly because, clearly, this is the only way to get your team to take anything seriously.
