Wahoo Kickr v6 that also died
Wahoo Kickr v6 dead I believe the life expectancy of their home trainers are about 3-4 years or 2.000km, based on my own experience and from what I read online. (Try to google wahoo kickr speed sensor / cadence / power issues) I paid 1200 euro for my trainer when it came out, and it stopped working some months ago. I have been writing the costumer support for some months now. The reply time is 7-12 days per email response. They write me to do a lot of pointless tests with my trainer that doesn’t give an output. So my conclusion is, that if you want to have a wahoo home trainer in your setup you should buy the cheapest one (wahoo kickr core) and then expect to replace it every 3rd year when it wears out. That would cost you about 200 euro per year, and you would have a great workout experience.
