Good and almost great

I am very happy with my new printer. The quality of the prints is amazing! The printing speed might as well be supersonic compared to my old printers. I love it. I did have some trouble getting the unit to run at the start, but the customer support team is phenomenal! I honestly think they helped me too much! They helped me troubleshoot and sent me parts to repair things without a fuss. Honestly, this is probably the best customer support I've ever gotten. A couple of things I wish were better, though. One, even though customer support was amazing, I would have preferred my printer didn't come with any issues in the first place. Second, I wish I had easier control over the printer. I know I can mess with the g-code and such, but sadly, I'm not smart enough for that yet. I want to be able to basically work with the printer to create solutions. Yes, it's easy to home things and perform bed leveling, but let's say to troubleshoot the Z offset, I actually have to start a new print. It would be nice to have the option to request the printer to go to where it thinks the perfect Z offset is, make adjustments, and maybe even let it print a line in semi-manual mode. That way, I'd know that when I actually start a print, it will be perfect from the get-go. Third, I want to be able to override everything the printer wants to do whenever I want. If I tell it I don't want it to heat up to a certain temperature it should obey me immediately not wait for the next step. Also, if I ask it to do something that it thinks is bad, it should give me a warning and an option to proceed at my own risk. I got a message that said my fillament didn't match the printers presets or something along those lines and it would refuse to print. I should be able to tell it to print anyways. I know it was a glitch but if I could override the printer it would be a slight inconvenience not a huge pain in the... Also, I should be able to set any internal temperature I want. Why does it start at 45? I just want it to warm the air a little and circulate it to prevent drafts from warping my prints. Four, I wish there were more explanation pop-ups. I want to know not just what it is and what it will do, but also when and why it needs to be done and/or the pros and cons of doing it. It would be nice for newbies like me to get a hang of things faster. Five, make the door swing out more. Overall, the printer is great, though.
