No Claim Refund after 12 Days - Disgusted
Absolutely disgusted by OnePlan Pet Insurance. I adopted a 1 year old Jack Russel from a family that has now immigrated to New Zealand. A cancellation request for the policy was submitted by the original owner on the 2nd of December 2025 with policy end date being the 31st of December 2025. The reason for the policy cancellation was because I am with another insure for my existing dog (so relieved about this after this experience!). On the 26th of December, my dog had a medical emergency that landed him in two vet visits costing R5000. The claim was submitted via email by the original policy holder to petclaims to which we have had no response or acknowledgement - 12 days later. I escalated this with a new claim submitted to pet claims yesterday to which I have also not received an outcome or response. This has been incredibly traumatizing and it shows that OnePlan does not prioritize the lives of our pets - especially if you are in a cancellation period. OnePlan cannot be trusted - OnePlan, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.
