Overpriced and No Returns – Extremely Disappointing
I strongly regret purchasing this clutch DIY kit. At $224 USD, this is outrageously expensive for what you actually receive. The product is misleading from the start. It is sold as a DIY kit, tools are NOT included. After receiving it, I realized I would need to spend even more money just to complete the project. That is unacceptable at this price point. The difficulty level is also completely unrealistic unless you already have advanced leatherworking skills. It is extremely difficult to produce a decent result, which defeats the purpose of buying a DIY kit in the first place. Customer service made the situation even worse. When I requested a return, they refused outright. Instead, they offered options that all required me to spend MORE money, either buying additional tools or paying them to finish the bag for me. I even offered to accept store credit just to return the item, and they still refused. This kind of no-return policy feels unfair and unreasonable. On top of everything, there are quality control issues. The hardware does not properly align with the pre-punched holes in the leather, making assembly even harder. One of the screws was defective and didn’t even have the proper cross top like the others. I have photos to prove these defects. Overall, this product is overpriced, poorly designed, I would give zero star if I could. I would strongly advise others to avoid this kit. My clutch is a garbage now, can't install the hardware
