Damaged product, misleading offer, poor service – extremely disappointing
I ordered a wardrobe from Litfad on August 25, 2025. The delivery was extremely delayed. When the product finally arrived, it was damaged, with multiple wooden panels having broken and crumbling edges. The product also did not match the pictures and description shown on the website. Instead of taking responsibility, the company first claimed the item had “no quality issues when it left the warehouse” and suggested the damage might have occurred during shipping. That is not acceptable from a professional seller. The customer should not bear the risk for damaged goods. They then offered only a 20% refund and expected me to pay for very expensive international return shipping — even though the product was defective. This felt like an attempt to discourage a proper return. After firm communication and filing a payment dispute with my bank, they finally agreed to a 70% refund, which I accepted as a compromise. However, this process required significant effort, time, and pressure. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience: • Late delivery • Damaged and non-conforming product • Poor initial resolution offer • Long and exhausting communication I cannot recommend buying from Litfad based on my experience.
