Comfortable ear cups but tricky to fit
I purchased replacement ear cups for my Bowers & Wilkins PX7 headphones. The new cups are made from fabric and foam. They are slightly thicker than the original leather cups and hopefully more durable. Fitting the replacement cups proved tricky, partially due to the clip-on design of the B&W headphones, and partly due to the clips on the new cups not being perfectly moulded. I could get several clips to engage but one would always refuse to stay clipped-in. Despite being careful and only applying firm but gentle pressure, I managed to accidentally bend one clip and had to be careful not to break it. I gently bent the clip back into shape and tried fitting this one first before engaging the rest. This time I was successful. I had the foresight to order two pairs out of caution incase a situation like this arose, luckily they are inexpensive. [update] 16/03/2026 Stella from SUNSKY replied to my review with a polite email and provided a short video tutorial showing how to attach the headphone cups and offered a discount on my next order as a gesture of goodwill. As a result of this positive customer service, I am adjusting my review score from 3 stars to 4 stars. Thank you Stella!
