Not Valid In Hawaii go Elsewhere
Okay, so it goes my friend (Lynnette L) and I wanted to purchase an Anker Solix through Lowe's Home Improvement. However the unit was being sold without the charging cable (don't know why). Lowe's informed us to contact Anker directly regarding purchasing a cord. Contacted Anker and they referred us to contact the seller (Lowe's). So it was a back and forth game of where or how we were to get the Solix C2000 to work w/o a DC cord to charge the said unit. Anker's website stated that they DO NOT SHIP to Hawaii. Oh what a surprise. We then contacted Anker via email to inquire why we could not get the needed cable for the unit and purchasing the said item would mean we would just own a $1400 BRICK. Anker apologized saying that at the present time Hawaii is not on the their list for shipping and that we again should contact Lowe's finding out how to purchase a cord or to look online for authorized sellers. The authorized seller wanted $100 to send two CABLES to Hawaii...no way! The back and forth nuisance of sending an email with Anker ended with sorry but try contacting an authorized distributor in your area (not seller but distributor). All we wanted were 2 cables. All Anker did was give us the run around, how hard would it have been to let us purchase 2 charging cables and ship it to Hawaii, after all we are the 50th state as of 1949 is what we said to them. 2 cables USPS flat rate medium box $20+ with tracking priceless, business with Anker overrated! In the end we went to their competition as it was easier and less of a headache to deal with. The only question we now have is if we had this much problems purchasing a simple charging cable how hard would it be when we needed something fixed...the world may never know! Thanks Anker for nothing, but you made our lives much simpler by having us take our hard earned American Money (you know the one with American Presidents on the Bill) somewhere else, its not like we were going to pay you with Ti-leafs and rocks! We appreciate your replies but they didn't suffice for your lame excuse of a company with so called rave reviews, just because our 50th State is on your shipping list, you could have made it happen but chose not too (plain & simple).
