They cancelled my children's gift certificates without reason
I have adult children with birthdays on June 26 and June 27. My youngest turned 30, and I wanted to gift some nostalgia. Each one, on their birthday, I sent $100 gift certificate from candywarehouse.com with a sweet, loving birthday message. Each time I got an email receipt thanking me for my business, and the $100 was taken from my bank account. Three days later, on the 29th, the money showed back up in my bank. I got an EMAIL ON THE 29th confirming that candywarehouse.com had cancelled my orders...a separate email for each purchase cancelled. No one tried to contact me before they cancelled this order. My phone number was included in the order. When I asked them what they would do to make this right, they said it's not their fault that I "didn't pass their system verification." Yet no one notified me that I had failed anything, and they did take my money. I have NO idea if their products or services are acceptable, because they sabotaged my birthday gifts for my kids, who never received anything from candywarehouse.com. Nothing. Not even an email. The only reason for 2 Stars is the very patient and kind customer service rep Colleen who contacted a manager for me, and called me back as promised.
