I purchased EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover important Word and Excel files that were accidentally deleted from my computer. The software successfully detected all lost files during the scan, which initially suggested that recovery was possible. However, every single recovered file was corrupted and completely unusable. None of the documents could be opened or repaired. After contacting customer support, I was informed that because the data was deleted from an internal SSD, the TRIM function may have permanently erased the data. While I understand this technical limitation, I find the handling of my case unacceptable for several reasons: The software detected the files and allowed recovery, strongly suggesting that recovery was feasible. EaseUS advertises advanced recovery and repair services, yet no effective repair assistance was provided. Despite the recovery being entirely unsuccessful, EaseUS refused to issue a refund, stating that the software “worked correctly.” After I accepted a lifetime license as compensation, EaseUS explicitly refused to continue assisting me with the file recovery, stating that the case was closed. Being denied further technical support after accepting the license left me without any solution for my lost data and without a refund. Based on my experience, the product did not deliver its advertised purpose, and the customer support response was disappointing. I would not recommend this software.
