Starting a small business beware of company with their auto renew policy
Starting a small business, I signed up with site 123 initially it was easy and everything was fine. The downside is even though I knew it they have auto renew. I decided to get out of the business weeks before my date was up. I canceled all the renew on everything don’t domain the site everything went back a few days later double checked it then I find I was charged $16 and change even though it’s a small amount for the domain, I wrote to them tickets for customer service were generated. It took them quite a while to respond back and I can tell you the response back. I’ve never received such a strongly worded nasty email basically blaming it on me that I did not disable auto renew. Basically not in so many words, but basically saying tough and that I did not disable auto review. Beware of this company before signing up, giving your credit card and with the auto renew policy that they’re claiming goes weeks before the date to assure that the website and the domain stay up that they’re performing a courtesy so we don’t lose our domain and website well, you know what to the company . That’s nothing but deceiving practices with this auto renew.
