Treadmill fire hazard and burnt carpet
The treadmill has been used only four times since purchase. During its most recent use, the motor overheated and burned through the plastic casing on the underside of the machine. This failure caused heat damage to my carpet, resulting in permanent burn marks. Photos attached. Given the extremely limited use, this level of failure is unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding the quality and safety of the product. A treadmill should not pose a fire hazard, especially after such minimal operation. This issue could have resulted in far more serious damage or injury. I have already complained to the customer service team regarding the treadmill and have received a refund for the product. However, my frustrations continue, as I have mentioned to the customer service team my upset regarding the carpet on countless separate occasions to which it has not been addressed. The burn on the carpet is right in the middle of my living room and is in front of the TV so it looks atrocious.
