Very upsetting
Very upsetting, especially since there was no proof provided! I sent in six glucose monitors in a box that was not from Amazon. I surrounded the boxes with brown wrapping paper and taped everything very securely. All of the boxes were in pristine condition when I shipped them. I received a phone call stating that one of the boxes was severely dented and, therefore, they would not compensate me for that monitor. I was given the option of having the monitor sent back to me for a $25 fee, which would be deducted from my payment. WHAT A RIP-OFF! No pictures were offered as proof, and the woman I spoke with had no idea how the monitors had been packaged. So, I would really like to know how this happened. I have dealt with other companies and have never experienced an issue like this because I always make sure everything is packaged extremely securely and carefully. This is the second time I have dealt with Two Moms, and unfortunately, I will not be doing business with them again. Based on how the monitors were packaged and wrapped, it would have been almost impossible for one of the boxes to become severely dented as I was told. Unfortunately, there was nothing I could do, and I felt like I was completely at their mercy. I did not want to lose another $25 from the payment for the remaining five monitors, so I told them to keep the damaged one, process my check, and that I would be taking my business elsewhere. It is too bad because they have now lost my trust. The first time I dealt with them, everything went smoothly and the process was exactly as expected. That is why this situation feels even more suspicious and unsettling to me. I cannot say what happened, but based on my experience, I will be returning to the other companies I have used in the past. Make your own decision, but I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed choice.
