Consistently improving products and great value for money
I’ve used several GMKtec mini PCs over time, including the Evo X2, K8 Plus, Evo X1, and G3 Plus, and my overall experience has been very positive. One thing that really stands out is their commitment to continuous improvement through BIOS updates. For example, the Evo X2 initially had some thermal issues, but GMKtec rolled out multiple BIOS updates over time that completely resolved them. Now it’s easily one of the best Ryzen AI Max+ 395 mini PCs available. What impressed me even more is that some more established competitors faced similar issues but didn’t address them nearly as effectively or quickly. Another big advantage is pricing. Even during periods when RAM prices increased, GMKtec kept their mini PC pricing competitive instead of passing on large increases to customers. The Evo X2 is a great example—it may be slightly higher than its launch price, but it still remains one of the most affordable options in its category. Finally, the build quality is excellent. From the chassis materials to the SSDs and RAM they use, everything feels premium and well put together. Overall, GMKtec offers a strong combination of performance, value, and long-term support. Based on my experience across multiple models, I would definitely recommend them.
