Negligent Care and Unacceptable Medication Gaps
If I could give Joyous negative stars, I would. This is the absolute worst medical provider app I have ever dealt with. Their “Care Team” is anything but caring. They have turned from a loyal customer that has referred many customers, to someone that will do anything I can to steer any and everyone away from them. I pay for a monthly subscription, which includes a prescription for daily ketamine. I was down to my last 4 days of my medication and I expected that my refill was already in the mail. I checked my messages and discovered they just messaged me 2 days prior informing me that I needed to do a virtual consult before my refill. I tried to schedule my appointment but they were booked 10 days out, and it would another week to ship my meds (at least a 2-week gap in my medication). Apparently they only have one provider in the state of Texas. I contacted their “Care” Team. They were exceptionally rude and careless. They repeatedly told me that a week or two without my prescription wouldn’t be a big deal, and if I needed any assistance, I should just “reach out to my family and friends”. They completely missed the point that I pay for a subscription which includes refills and follow-ups with my doctor, with adequate time to receive my medication without gaps. Multiple times I reached out to, and they repeatedly blew me off and would take several days to respond to each message. I requested that at the very least, they provide me a refund for the number of days I was missing my prescription. They told me that my subscription wasn’t really for a prescription, it was just for general “support”, like texting with their Care Team (that neither cares nor responds). Apparently, because the subscription is the same price regardless of the dose, they save a bit of money by not refilling your medication in time. This is a for-profit company only, that absolutely does not care about their patients. They are understaffed and will only provide templated responses to your concerns. They do not offer any support via phone, only text message. They will not notify you when your prescription requires a consult to be refilled, and they do not have enough providers to meet with you in adequate time. They do not care if you have gaps in your refills. And if you need support while you’re missing your medication, you should apparently just reach out to your family and friends, because their Care Team is not available. Oh, and you will not get a refund for the days you’re missing your medication.
