2 years, $10,458 blocked – Trade Assurance does NOT protect buyers
I paid a deposit of USD 10,458 (40% of order value) to supplier Guangzhou Lili Toys Co., Ltd. (Lilytoys) via Trade Assurance in April 2024 for a floating water park. The goods were never shipped. I have been requesting a cancellation and refund since the order was placed. The dispute process appears one-sided, slow, and ineffective. I am now pursuing legal action. If you are considering a large B2B order via Trade Assurance: keep ALL communication on-platform, and know that bank transfer payments have virtually no protection if the dispute process fails.
