Persistent Technical Issues Affecting Artist Accounts
I’ve been associated with Fine Art America for several years, both as a buyer and through my partner’s Premium artist account (Coleen Z). While the print-on-demand service and artist community have potential, the platform suffers from frequent and recurring technical problems. Visitor stats regularly freeze or fail to update for days, with many pending views lost when they finally sync. Navigation issues (scroll arrows resetting or showing “Forbidden” errors) and broken artwork links (“Page Not Found”) have also occurred repeatedly. These problems appear account-specific — other artists we’ve spoken with report normal functionality. Support tickets are submitted often, but responses are slow or nonexistent, requiring multiple follow-ups to get partial fixes. The inconsistent backend and unreliable support make it frustrating for artists trying to track engagement and present their work professionally. Improvements in stability and faster technical support would make a significant difference. Rating: 2 out of 5 stars
