Truly one of the best online stores in the fountain pen world
I’ve placed multiple fountain pen orders with Appelboom, and every experience has been outstanding. It’s truly one of the best online stores in the fountain pen world. The website is clear, informative, and easy to navigate. Stock status is communicated transparently - items are marked “in stock” when available, and if not, you’re given an estimated restock time or invited to request an ETA. In my experience, their turnaround time has consistently been faster than promised. I also ordered a nib grinding service from their nibmeister and couldn’t be happier. The result is exceptional, couldn't wish for better. Customer service is remarkably responsive, even on weekends, which is rare and very much appreciated. And the packaging - every delivery feels like opening a carefully prepared gift. Rather than repeating all the praise already out there, I’ll simply say this: The Team Joost Appelboom has my full respect. Shops like this have played a huge role in building and supporting the global fountain pen community - educating enthusiasts, curating quality products, and truly understanding our needs. In an era dominated by large, impersonal marketplaces, it’s more important than ever to appreciate and support dedicated retailers like Appelboom.
