Seller Scam and No Real Support from DHgate
I had a very negative experience with a seller on DHgate called BrandShoeSupplier, and unfortunately the platform did not provide any real support. I placed multiple orders, and due to the seller’s poor handling of shipments and tracking, one package was lost. I paid $187, but only received a partial refund of $105.02, leaving $81.98 unpaid. The seller provided incorrect and unrelated tracking numbers, which created confusion during the dispute. They also admitted they owed me the remaining amount but refused to refund it unless I deleted my review. Recently, they even asked me to delete a review from an account that is not mine in order to receive my money. Despite all this, DHgate did not resolve the issue. The case was handled using irrelevant delivery information, and the missing refund was never properly addressed. DhGate have the conversations with seller and me, all the threats and misconduct, I opened 3 different cases about the same and nothing happened. This experience shows a lack of buyer protection and accountability on the platform. Sellers can manipulate tracking and reviews, and customers are left without a fair resolution. I would strongly recommend being very cautious when purchasing from DHgate, as my experience has shown that support is limited when problems arise.
