Excellent service : excellent follow-up, disponibility, very useful infos Guides and bus drivers : punctual, amicable, helpful Suggestions: alternate days with intense visits and more relaxing days (i got very tired within the first few days) ; recruit French or English speaker guides with a minimum B2 level (European scale) and a deep knowledge of history and/or architecture (Guides chosen in Beijing and Pingyao are good examples) ;make sure that the guides lead us to authentic neighborhoods and shops rather than “tourist-trap” shops (ex: clay/jade/nacre factory in Xi’an) ; check in advance if there is at least one good English speaker in the hotels ( Pingyao is an excellent example) All in all, I had a wonderful experience, and I thank Prelude Voyages for that!
