My booking experience with Agoda was extremely disappointing. The hotel information listed on Agoda appears to be incorrect or unreliable, as the property could not be located properly and the reservation could not be found by the hotel. Even Agoda’s support team was unable to contact the property. Despite this being clearly an issue on Agoda’s side, the only solution offered was a refund, with no assistance in arranging alternative accommodation. This left me without a place to stay in the evening, which is unacceptable. In contrast, other platforms such as Expedia provide support in rebooking alternative hotels in situations like this. Agoda should take greater responsibility for the accuracy of its listings and customer support.
