Don’t use them. Don’t sign up to anything. Don’t provide them with any contact details. I signed up for Traveloka while searching for last minute trip options for an interstate funeral. Never ended up using them. I’ve tried to unsubscribe to their constant newsletters since then, with no success. Their unsub process involves requesting to unsub on their site, and then clicking on a confirmation link in an email they send. A page flashes a message confirming that you’ve be unsubscribed. But it’s a lie. I repeated this process multiple times and their useless emails keep coming. Complained directly and they said they’d look into it. Also lies. So Traveloka is now being treated like any other hostile spam and will be reported to our gov spam reporting service for breaking AU laws about marketing.
